Cherryhill Album
The much anticipated debut album of 'Cherryhill' is set to release on July 1st! here is a review of their recent concert:

5/31/08 - AMP YOUR VOICE W/THE PROSPECT/PATHWAY TO PROVIDENCE/CHERRYHILL/TABLE SET FOR TWO Sarasota high school students pooled their energies for this Darfur benefit, featuring a promising lineup of young local bands that includes power punkers The Prospect, Pathway to Providence and Table Set for Two. The can't-miss act here, though, is Cherryhill, a stunning, classically trained acoustic quartet helmed by pianist/singer Kaela Bratcher and violin player Caitlin Whitehouse. Its soulful, melancholy pop suggests a maturity beyond the years of these soon-to-be college music majors. (Sarasota Municipal Auditorium, Sarasota) –AS for Creative Loafing

Cherryhill Album
Wow! We have been very fortunate to have some world class musicians sit in on the debut album for 'Cherryhill!

Lydia Salnikova the lead vocalist and keyboard player for the Grammy-nominated band Bering Strait, which released 2 albums on Universal South Records and was featured in a "60 Minutes" episode, as well as a full-length documentary, "The Ballad Of Bering Strait". The band toured throughout the U.S., sharing the stage with such artists as Trisha Yearwood, Diamond Rio, Steve Azar, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Collin Raye, Wynonna, Phil Vassar, B-52s, Ricky Skaggs, Kenny Rogers, Kathy Mattea and Bela Fleck. Being both a skilled singer and a classically trained pianist, Lydia also generously lent her musical talents to other acts, in the studio and on the road; the most notable contribution was her appearance on “We Are The Same” by Kenny Rogers.

Pat Bergeson has laid down some incredible guitar tracks for the album. Pat arrived in Nashville upon the request of Chet Atkins who heard Pat on a demo tape. Chet invited him to play on his album Sneakin' Around with Jerry Reed. He later featured Pat on his 1994 release Read My Licks. A close friend of Chet's, he toured with him for several years, and later with Shelby Lynne, Wynnona, and then four years with Lyle Lovett. A versatile guitarist as well as chromatic and diatonic harmonica player, Pat is known for his session work with a variety of artists such as Lyle Lovett, Alison Krauss, Dolly Parton, Bill Frisell, Martin Taylor, Suzy Bogguss, Bill Evans, Peter Frampton, Michael McDonald and many others. Pat Bergeson was named as one of Chet Atkins' top twelve favorite guitarists in the Oct. 2001 issue of Vintage Guitar magazine.

Music News
We just returned from our recording session in Nashville with 'Cherryhill'. The girls performed like the professionals they are and all were impressed with thier musical and songwriting ability. Producer Bob McGilpin is very excited about the possibilities of this album. While in Nashville the girls got to visit the Station Inn and hear the Time Jumpers. On stage there were 3 grammy recipients and a surprise visit from Vince Gill! He played a song never heard before about his brother who recently passed away. Not a dry eye in the house..... a once in a lifetime experience. Keep your eyes out for Cherryhill....they are a special group. There album will release in May with a tour following this summer.
